ADOPTED!  HAPPY HOME STORIES

BO

Bo is doing great, and he has a wonderful little buddy. Bo really likes car rides and has gotten to go on quite a few adventures. He also likes going to the dog park and  would play there all day if his new family let him.

Bo was very happy to leave the shelter for his forever home in June 2010.

DAISY - NOW NAMED ABBY

Abby is making great strides. I had a houseful of people and she let everyone pet her without withdrawing. She is becoming less afraid and her personality is coming out. I think this is a wonderful program. The kids win, the dog wins and the new owners are lucky to get a dog that has gone through the program.

Abby graduated the k9 connection program in November 2010.

MINNIE - NOW NAMED SHADOW

Yeah things have been great with Shadow! We took her to the dog park for the first time yesterday and she was amazing! She is extremely playful with other dogs.  With help from your trainer Sharon, Shadow learned Shake and Touch in under 5 minutes! She hasn't mastered Stay yet but we're gonna take her to some obedience classes for that one. Thanx for everything!

Shadow graduated the k9 connection program in January 2011.

FOXY

You might remember Foxy, a humble senior doggie who graduated from K9 in Jan 2010 and was adopted from West LA shelter in Feb.  Fox, as her new family calls her, just finished a cross-country road trip to Princeton, NJ. Fox cruised from LA to Washington state, then on to the east coast. Now that she is in her new home in NJ, surrounded by parks and walking paths, Fox is able to pursue a lifelong dream: chasing squirrels!!

Koa is doing great and likes to take rides in the car.  He is slowly getting use to his new family and new dog friends.  Koa graduated from two k9 connection programs and found his loving forever home in November 2011.

PATIENCE - NOW NAMED MAKENNA

Makenna is acclimating really well and she's taken to her crate quite easily.  It's great that she knows her basic commands and I can already see that she's doing a good job coming to me when called.  She is pictured above with Brutus our JRT.

Patience/Mak graduated the k9 program in February 2011.

Pixie was adopted in July 2011 after her new family saw her at a mobile adoption event at the G2 Gallery in Venice, CA. She loves her new brother Charlie and he is super happy Pixie came home to live with him!  “We are so happy she is part of our family”
